Bought petrol here a number of times and I don't think I have ever received a hello or any form of acknowledgement ever, always on phone and they are too bothered to look up from counter. Indian guy at counter today just stood there arguing with me when he charged me for another persons pump as if it was my fault. Very rude people.
Poorly designed the entryway. This could cause the accident or blocking traffic back to the main road. Poor customer service. One day I filled up the petrol for $40 on pump no.5 . Then, I went to the counter to make a payment. However, there was a problem. There was the other customer paid the wrong pump number (which was my pump number). So, I still paid for my petrol (which was $40). However, when I asked for the receipt the staff said she (looked like Indian) can't issue me the receipt. That can't be right. If the machine can't print out the receipt, they have to be able to write it down on a receipt book. By law, the petrol station like that must be able to provide the receipt for the customers either by printed from the POS machine or a receipt book as a proof of purchase. The way the staff said that to me sounded very dodgy.
Rude staff member (the one dressed in a Turban) was talking on his phone, kept talking on his phone whilst I paid for my petrol, not even saying Hello nor acknowledging me. Cheap petrol is the only reason I go here.
Poorly designed entryway off the main road as it only takes a few parked cars at the diesel pumps to cause traffic backed into the street. Cheaper than average petrol but the person who served me manually increased the price on their EFTPOS machine so be careful. Staff here are generally distracted, not greeting customers, and on the phone to friends and family. Place can sometimes smell like a gas leak. The worst, and dirtiest, Metro Petroleum station I've ever visited.
I often go here to fill up.Very friendly, cheerful staff, great fuel price all day even when it is not happy hour. Their $1-$1.50 coffees are FANTASTIC value!I am also very impressed with their METRO MILK, yet another great quality great value product.Highly reccomend!
